We're in Incheon!
Our robot has passed inspection, our pit is set up, and our first official matches are ahead. We’re writing from Korea, starting with the airport in Zagreb.

Day 8ReadDay 8: Our last day in Korea
We spent our last day in Korea with the Croatian ambassador, then headed to the airport in the evening. Home was an 11 and a half hour flight to Istanbul and another two and a half hours to Zagreb away.
Day 7ReadDay 7: A whole day around Seoul
Our first full day in Seoul. A robot and AI museum in the morning, a building without a single straight corner in the afternoon, and the word Zagreb on a window of N Seoul Tower in the evening.
Day 6ReadDay 6: Our last matches, then Seoul
We finished the competition in 51st place out of 185 teams. We were disappointed to miss the finals, and after our last matches we left Incheon for Seoul.

Two clubs, one team.
Team Croatia 2026 brings together students and mentors from Informatički klub NET in Ivanić-Grad and Centar Pozitron in Pazin. In October 2026 we represent Croatia at the FIRST Global Challenge in Incheon.
The team formed after FG Croatia 2026, the first international robotics competition of this scale held in Croatia. Nine teams from six countries competed over two days in Ivanić-Grad.
This year's theme is fighting wildfires with automation. For Istria and Dalmatia, that's not a hypothetical.
Dry fuel shows up from space.
The same class of lightning strike hit Orebić and Korčula. Orebić lost 0.3 hectares, Korčula lost 900. The difference wasn't the spark, it was what was lying on the ground.
Every five days, Pyros uses Sentinel-2 satellite imagery to calculate how much moisture vegetation has lost. The map is live.

This year's challenge is wildfire prevention. For Istria and Dalmatia, that's not an abstract topic, it's every summer. Your name stands next to work on that problem, not next to another sponsored jersey.
